Feed low nitrogen fertilizer when first planting out, when the plants are 6 to 8 inches tall, 12 to 15 inches tall, and then when the buds first form. Cover the plants with a row cover to prevent the presence of these pests.

Spray the plot along the outer sides of the cabbage rows, about 6 inches from the plants Actually, 2 seeds per aero sponge 4/1. to garden. Transplanted 4/19. Did great, keeper. Second harvest not tended vs earwigs (my bad)

Continue this hilling process as the plants grow, usually about every two weeks. feed 5-10-10 q4 weeks. Harvest new potatoes as soon as plants begin to flower (or after flowers fade???), about 10 weeks after planting (70 days). last hills 6/5. Flowering starting 6/9 (50 days). Eating in July, great. (87 days). Don in mid-August.
