Garden Plans > 2014: SJS Classroom Garden

About this Garden Plan

Please help us answer the question how might we adopt a parish & school mission with green sustainable goals which would improve and make healthier the school and church environment, lower the annual operating costs of the facilities and have a positive impact on our community, the environment and both parent and student continuing educational experiences? Green schools showcase a community's commitment to its children and their future, who in turn learn from an early age the importance and benefits of acting as responsible stewards of their communities and the larger world. One way we want to achieve this is with our community garden. The following is an outline of our school garden and planting plan. Please join us if you're interested!
