Plan Notes

The 2013 Bass Vegetable Garden significant changes: - Built a 50' x 50' x 7' fence around the garden to keep out rabbits and dogs. So far(mid June) it is keeping out the deer. - New tools - Post Hole Digger, Trench shavel, Good set of hand garden tools - Ran both Electricity and Water to the Garden - water for the distribution system, electricity for the cultivator and for power tool use - Built two gates to the Garden - Ran 1/2 and 3/4 inch soaker hoses to all beds. - Have a table, chair, garden scouter - Have a push mower with grass catcher - Place down a good layer of red mulch in all the lower beds - Have chicken wire to establish a compost pile(leaves, weeds, expended plants, egg shells, tea) - Have potato container, salad container, garlic container, onion container, carrot container, - Started Spice garden with Sweet Basil and parsley plants (need a plan with containers(raised) - Laid down cardboard in the paths between garn rows(greatly reduced weeds, keeps moisture in ground, biodegradeable, no muddy feet) Need the following: - replace hoe, shovel, fork,cultivator - Red mulch for the upper beds - Black Cow manure for the upper beds - 75 hose (cheap for the norther part of the Garden - 100 ' of 1/2 soaker hose - Vegetation Killer concentrate - Containers for Spices - Container for Peppers - Container for potatoes - Fall garden plan (collards, turnips, spinach, broccoli, cucumbers, rutabaga, squash, lettuce, tomato, onion, garlic, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, beets, sugar snap peas, green beans) - Seed Starting Mixture - Seaweed Organic Fertilizer - Seed Starting Tray
