Plan Notes

Overall, very disappointed in the first year of this 2500 sq ft garden. Soil is mostly clay. Not sure how it was treated previously. We added 2 year old manure from local farmer, tilled many times. Weeds took over the garden and got out of control. Put garbage in two areas to till in for next year. Put plaastic sheeting down in several areas and that temporarily reduced weeds. Future Notes: Few cucmber plants are sufficient. Mellons were very good for us, Put cans under fruits to keep off soil, use platic on areas without plants, plant farther away from each other. Tomato and Peppers need to have better weed and bug control
